In the treatment with mineral salts for Schuessler inorganic salts are added as a drug to compensate for a deficiency. However, it is not the goal of replacing the missing quantity of minerals, but rather to be triggered by ingesting an irritant that stimulates the cell to increased intake of salts from the daily diet.
The term "mineral/mineral salt" is understood in the broad sense inorganic substances which are formed naturally in the earth's crust. Many are essential for the human organism. You are in the blood and all organs in various concentrations. Your balance is another prerequisite for the smooth operation of all functions. A disturbance in balance or a deficiency of these salts leads to disease.
The doctor and homeopath, Dr. Wilhelm Schuessler (born 1821) was looking for a therapy that got on in contrast to the large pharmaceutical pictures classical homeopathy with few resources.
In 1874 he published his pamphlet "an abbreviated treatment, based on histology and cellular pathology," in which he showed that he only succeed with 12 inorganic, homeopathic potentized salt works. He called this mineral salts "function means" and his conduct "Biochemistry".
Schuessler salts are enjoying today because of the manageable number of funds increasing popularity. You will be taken in the form of lozenges, applied as an ointment, or depending on the indication given as a bath additive. That the area is very diverse and comprehensive.
