What is Candomblé?

Candomblé is a 4000-year shamanic cult from Brazil, which draws its roots from the spiritual traditions of Africa. It focuses on the orishas.

The orishas are pure beings of light and represent the various aspects of the archetypal elements of nature. They embody the powers of the earth and the social life of all people.
