Beschreibung der Methode "Acupressure"
Was ist „Acupressure”?
Acupressure means in English: point massage. Acupressure is applied involuntarily by each of us, when it hurts somewhere.
Instinctively we reach for the painful area, whether it is the temple or a point on the lumbar spine. Acupressure is found in probably every ancient folk medicine. Since the depressed, tapped or massaged points are often identical to the classical acupuncture points, it is considered a descendant of acupuncture.
As with acupuncture, it is also about balancing the two energy flows Yin and Yang. In addition to the 12 major meridians known from acupuncture, there are 20 more meridians in the acupressure, on which blocked energy channels can be released. Acupressure usually causes an increase in pain initially. However, this is generally perceived as very pleasant and gives way within a short time a pain relief. Also with the Periostmassage in the physiotherapy the acupressure can be integrated.
Indications are all pain conditions.
